What amazing weather... I can not remember the sea being so warm. I almost went for a swim!
I have attached some photos for general interest, although I am sure others will have better ones.
Party members were Graham Bailey, Dave Bertram, David Brown, Dave Cuthill, Meg Spittal, and Katerina Stein. All of Lothian Sea Kayal Club.
We were on the water and away by 09:30 on Monday 16th August. High Water had been a couple of hours earlier and we took the eb...

Dave Cuthill (Lothian Sea Kayak Club and Forth Canoe Club).
It was Dave Brown’s idea. Start in Stirling, Down the River Forth, on to the Firth of Forth and paddle to Aberdour.

Western Isles Trip July-Aug 2023 Cuthill, Brown 234 0
Started by David.Cuthill
Took the Mallaig to Lochboisdale ferry, camped near the terminal, parked the car near the Police Station, loaded the boats, and got afloat at the public pontoon. We set off South and lunched on Eriskay. Then we paddled down the East side and made the crossing to Fuday. Lovely campsite on the North West.

I dropped anchor in the bay and set off in the kayak to paddle round Scarba. (pic shows &39;Tiptoe&39; in no...
