Took the Mallaig to Lochboisdale ferry, camped near the terminal, parked the car near the Police Station, loaded the boats, and got afloat at the public pontoon. We set off South and lunched on Eriskay. Then we paddled down the East side and made the crossing to Fuday. Lovely campsite on the North West.

Paddled out and South, past the far side of the Barra runway beach. Lunched at Allathsdal.

Allasdale to Vatersay
Called in at Caolas, where the island has been connected. Not very picturesque there. Paddled back out
Just made it through the tide-gap and battled hard against a strengthening wind to Vatersay
Vatersay to Sandray
Bouncy day with a huge 12 Km/h tiderace between Vatersay and Sandray. Found another perfect campsite.
